Thrust engine 2
Now that the flywheel is complete I have spent some time setting up and aligning the belts and pulleys on the engine mount.
As I did not have a jig to make the mount it was hard to get everything 100%. Firstly the bottom bearings required a little packing underneath to allow correct alignment. Also the square where the top bearings sit even though built to plans were too low. I had to weld 30mm square tube to the top plus a 2mm plate spacer to get correct belt tention.

After fixing that it was straight forward construction. Just placing parts where they had to go and securing them.
The radiator has now been installed also
Now I need to plumb the radiator, wire the engine then watch it run!
